the sound of animals fighting - the tiger and the duke re-issue (2007)

the sound of animals fighting announced their tracklisting and posted their artwork today, and it reminded me to throw on this album again.

i still remember when this album dropped. a. green, members of finch and rx bandits. at the time i lost my shit. anyway, the new album is apparently the original lineup sans craig owens, keith goodwin and the indian lady. sounds good to me.

clipse - hell hath no fury (2006)

everyone has their shortcomings, and my biggest shortcoming in recent memory is not giving clipse a proper listen. i know, all hip-hop fans out there have either self-destructed or have bought plane tickets to houston to come shank me. however, i have been enlightened, and it's better late than never, amirite?!

clipse are the true saviors and the future of lyrical hip-hop. after sitting on youtube and watching countless videos catching up on what i've missed, i've found that there are huge things in store for clipse and the re-up gang in 08, including new albums.

anyway, if you are a total failure like me and haven't let this album wreak havoc on your brain, then do so immediately.

on the might of princes - sirens (2003)

i got onto this band late, per panda's recommendation. but i figure i should make a post about it, because panda is busy getting deported and stabbing people.

this album is straight intensity. guitars rip, vocals rule, lyrics are insane. great album from a great band who broke up in 04. supposedly they reunited in 06, but i'm not sure if it was a one-off or not. i just love this album. pardon me for not knowing a damn thing.
