wale just dropped a video for "nike boots," and i realized that this is the worst blog ever. the sole reason is that we have yet to post about wale yet. 2009 will be a HUGE year for dc's finest, and he's surely going to drop one of the flyest debuts hip hop has seen in a while.

this shit dropped a while ago, and i'm pretty damn bad at the blogging-about-who-you-hear-about-right-away-or-else-you'll-look-like-an-idiot thing. ah well, i'm sure some of you haven't copped this mix yet. either way, cudi is a hot signing off of a-trak's fool's gold records, who is bound to blow up at any given moment.

ok, so there's a funny story to this song. not really, though. a friend and i were at a forever 21 several months ago, and we heard a song. (yes, this one) and i really liked it, so i asked an employee if they knew who it was, and sure enough, not a single employee i asked had the slightest clue.

google, however, led me to this song. gotta love google.

this dude recently signed to fool's gold (a-trak's label) has a bunch of other dope stuff out too, so be sure to check it out.
