music video: kid cudi vs. crookers - day 'n' nite (2009)

i'm dumb. i never saw the video he ranted about, so i took it down. don't need cudi yelling at me in all caps. you can still grab the remix here, and the only reason i kept this post was to have an excuse to put up a fly picture.

-dear cudi, don't send grizzly any hate mail.

the alchemist - therapy f. kid cudi, evidence, blu, talib kweli (2008)

the alchemist is another producer who recently dropped the cookbook ep. the ep has everyone from the names on this track to pusha t, snoop and jadakiss. real solid ep, so check that out. this is a track that appears on the EP, but the EP version is sans talib kweli, so i figured i'd throw this one out there instead. also, the rest of them will all be household names come 2009. and if no one else does, it'll be kid cudi. endless props for him.

kid cudi - a kid named cudi (2008)

this shit dropped a while ago, and i'm pretty damn bad at the blogging-about-who-you-hear-about-right-away-or-else-you'll-look-like-an-idiot thing. ah well, i'm sure some of you haven't copped this mix yet. either way, cudi is a hot signing off of a-trak's fool's gold records, who is bound to blow up at any given moment.

kid cudi - embrace the martian (2008)

kid cudi is a slick dude i just stumbled upon recently. how i haven't found out about him earlier is beyond me. he comes from cleveland, ohio (bone thugs!) and he's definitely gonna be comin' up in the next few months. cudi is on a-traks label, fools gold and he's fusing hip-hop, electronics, r+b, pop and soul into a fresh, yet familiar sound. he has an ep called "day n night" out on itunes right now, so get on that. but for now, check out these two tracks.
