moving mountains - with one's heart in one's mouth (2008)

about time i heard something new from these guys. their last album, pneuma, was literally the first album i posted about here on weworemasks, and was my #2 of 2007. brilliant album, and this song is no different.

go preorder foreword.

listen to "with one's heart in one's mouth" on moving mountains' myspace.

get excited. oh, and if you live in new york and don't catch this band live with as tall as lions, i officially hate you and want you to die.

video: usher - moving mountains (2008)

here's the new (extremely cheesy) video from usher. picks up where love in this club left off. this song is pretty great, and i'm just a sucker for this type of old school r+b shit. beat's hot too, except it is too much of a timbo rip-off to me. either way, here's the new video.

moving mountains - moving mountains ep (2006)

if you haven't heard pneuma by moving mountains before, feel free to kick yourself in the genitals.

moving mountains creates beautiful music, plain and simple. i cannot stress my love for this band enough. this is their self-titled ep released before pneuma (and fans of pneuma will hear original versions of a few songs as well).

create some buzz, and someone fucking sign them.

moving mountains on myspace.

check out a live video of a new song they played at a recent show:

expect huge things from this band in 08, including a new ep. fingers crossed for a tour.

moving mountains - pneuma (2007)

each year, there's always one band that stands out to you and gives your record collection a much-needed facelift.this year, it was a small, unsigned band out of new york called moving mountains. it's pretty hard to shove them into a genre, but they have influences in post-rock, math, indie and pop. "pneuma" is their self-released debut lp, and there's something in it for everyone.
